United Women in Faith (UWF)

Oakdale's United Women in Faith group is a chapter of a larger body of women active throughout the world. United Women in Faith is an organization of approximately one million members whose purpose is to foster spiritual growth, develop leaders and advocate for justice. Members raise nearly $25 million each year for programs and projects related to women, children and youth in the United States and in more than 100 countries around the world. The Women's Division is the national policy-making body of this group.

UWF typically meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 1:00 pm

The purpose is "The organized unit of United Women of Faith shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church."
